The Star of Bethlehem
If someone says to you that 'Jesus didn't exist because he was not born on December 25th,' realize that it is an erroneous excuse invented by a rebellious mind. http://evolutionfacts.blogspot.comwww.cross.tv/36889
The Bible itself confirms that Jesus was born in the late spring because it records that the shepherds were "living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night." (Luke 2:8)
Shepherds historically did not watch sheep over night in the winter season because it would have been too cold. The Bible gives people accurate accounts of recorded history because God expected us to take Him seriously when He is speaking to us. Science is still catching up with the Bible.
Both the Star of Bethlehem and the alignment of planets which appeared as stars were a sign to the magi. But for us who live in an age of science it gives us a historical reference point to the Birth of THE REAL Jesus Christ.
