If you are looking to enable or disable Windows security service, then you have to dig a little deeper and tweak a few registry entries. But, let me warn you, tweaking with the registry can have severe consequences. So, if you want, then you can proceed with the process of registry tweak.
Here is how you can enable or disable windows security center service.
First, you need to registry editor by typing regedit.msc in the Run window.
Then you have to navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServiceswscsvc path and click on the DWORD entry from the right panel.
Once DWORD properties are opened, it can change the entries to enable or disable.
You have to enter 2 to enable it and 4 to disable it.
But, you must take a backup of your registry entries before doing anything irrational or something you don’t know about.
