Who We Are:

A Relational Network... Eagles' Wings (EW), led by Robert Stearns, is a relational network of believers from around the world who serve together and believe for God's love to be displayed in the earth through His people. We are a network of individuals, ministries, local churches, and ministry leaders with friends and ministry partners in every part of the world. There are about 60 individuals who are a part of the full-time ministry community of Eagles' Wings, and we divide our time between EW bases in the New York City area, Buffalo, New York, Frankfurt, Germany, and also spend considerable time in Jerusalem.

We are led by a leadership team headed by our founder and executive director, Robert Stearns. We are accountable to an outside Board of Advisors, all of whom are respected, senior, seasoned leaders in the Church, whom we have walked closely with for many years. All of our staff consider themselves missionaries, and do not receive a regular salary from Eagles’ Wings. All of our staff lives by faith in God's calling and promises, and the faithfulness of friends, family members, and churches who support them financially.

Our Vision

There are three main values that fuel our corporate vision.   All that we do flows from these three primary mandates:

1. The Restoration of Biblical Spirituality

We believe that there is a vast difference between the teachings of Jesus, exemplified in the understanding and lifestyle of the early Church, and that which has been passed down to us today as contemporary Christian church culture. We believe that before the day of the Lord comes, God will have a "bride without spot or wrinkle" (Ephesians 5:27).

Understanding the importance of honoring our heritage, we also believe the present church should be marked by extraordinary empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We believe this will include strong healthy relationships, ministry to the poor, signs and wonders, and apostolic and prophetic leadership.

2. Unity of the Body of Christ

We believe that functional unity in the Body of Christ is not an option, but a requirement for all believers. From Psalm 133 to John 17, there is a clear scriptural mandate for believers to walk in the unity that comes from following Jesus Christ. We believe that the Body of Christ is made up of many streams, each bringing their own strength to the whole.  We also believe that every stream, (including our own) no matter how healthy, has inherent weaknesses allowed by the Lord to make it dependent on the rest of the Body.

We believe that the quality of unity called for in Psalm 133 and John 17 is paramount for maturity to come to the Body of Christ. EW seeks to be a bridge between churches, denominations, and generations to encourage this growth.

3. Restoration of Israel

We believe that the One True God, the God of Israel, is the God of covenant. We believe that His promises and love endure to a thousand generations for those who fear his name (Gen. 17:7, Ex. 20:6).  We believe that the promises He extended to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, David, and the patriarchs are still true today, and that the natural House of Israel will experience the full blessing and restoration as the Lord has promised.  We believe that we as believers in the God of Israel have been grafted in to the Covenant of Abraham through faith (Romans 11), and we are ever mindful that it is the root that supports us, the branch.
