Ms. Jaketha Farmer, founder, teacher and administrator for 40 Days of Change Online (http://40daychallenge.ning.com/), is a Generation Xer whose lived a life far beyond her years. From experiencing a rather "grown up" childhood consisting of emotional, verbal and sexual abuse and a lot of caring for adult relatives with various physical and mental health issues, her restored life is truly the epitome of "working out your own salvation with fear and trembling…” Now, in her mid-30s, she has adopted the following life purpose: "In a creative spirit of excellence, my mission is to inspire certain weary and heavy-laden individuals by devising and launching spiritual resources for a destiny-focused life."

In late-2007, Jaketha returned to Shreveport / Bossier City, Louisiana (USA), with an intent of restoring her life along with building on her past to birth a dream consisting of several entrepreneurial ventures, including this Christian community, "40 Days of Change Online" and a forthcoming publishing company called ISH-OOS™ Publishing. She also founded, produce and host her own Christian Internet talk radio ministry called Got ISH-OOS?, which is based on Proverbs 4:23.

In early 2008, Jaketha earned a general pastors license in pastoral counseling from Our Daily Bread (ODB) Missions, Ministries and Bible Institute. She has also completed partial coursework toward a certified biblical counselor status with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). She is a member of AACC, the Black African American Christian Counselors (BAACC) - a division of AACC, the Christian Media Association (CMA) and a covenant member of "A Covering", a pastor-to-pastor partnership of Bishop Noel Jones Ministries. Jaketha holds a Bachelor and a Master's degrees in Engineering Technology along with a second Master's in Training & Development all from The University of Southern Mississippi.
