As we abide in the Lord's rest and live from that place of peace and rest in Him, circumstances will not be able to reign over us.

Healing Ministry Training from Jesus, Part 1

At a meeting with a number of heavenly family members in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Holy Spirit touched my head with his finger and said: "It is not about this". As we worshiped the Lord together, the Holy Spirit continued to stir my spirit and filled me with strength and joy from deep within. A friend of mine, Robin McMillan, shared from his heart and spoke about a lot of things which do not make sense to the mind, but are spiritual realitites. I personally think a large part of the Bible carries this characteristics.
During the encounter time towards the end, I could feel somebody holding my hands. When I opened my eyes I did not see anyone in the natural realm (I later wished I would have tried harder to look into the spiritual realm by faith, too). The person was holding mostly my palms, close to the wrist. It took me a moment to realize it was the Lord holding my hands. When I did, Jesus began to say to me: "That your hands may heal as my hands healed." I could feel a spiritual connection between the area where the nerves are in my arm, up to the palm and Jesus hands and body. When I began to draw on the strength I felt residing in Jesus, I felt like he said: "In the same way you are receiving right now, you can also release my power from within you when you lay hands on people."
I began to understand the reason why Jesus told us to lay hands on the sick in a deeper way. Earlier that day a thought like this had crossed my mind: "I feel like it is time for another encounter with Jesus himself." So I began to pray for this from deep within my heart. Afterwards I was wondering how the Lord would answer this prayer and then forgot about it.

Oftentimes when Jesus would heal a person by laying his hands on them, I believe in the spiritual world you could see light and power flowing from Jesus hands into the sick person and making her whole. The devil and the demons hated it whenever this happened, because it was sealing their defeat. I believe this is also why the enemy picked the crucifiction when he inspired the people to demand Jesus' death. At the cross the hands of Jesus where fastened by large nails which were thrust through nerves in Jesus' wrist or palm into the wood. This symbolizes an attempt from the enemy to stop the healing river from flowing through Jesus' hands.

Our enemy was not successfull in his attempt, obviously. The vessels who were used for releasing the healing river were multiplied eventually. Right now there are probably more people living on the earth who are filled with the Holy Spirit than ever lived before in all of history.

If you know the Bible by heart you already understand that this encounter I had with Jesus was not just a special commissioning for me. Everyone of us is called to lay hands on the sick in all areas of society and to do the works which Jesus began to do. This is why I am sharing this encounter with you.

He who believes in me will do the works that I do and even greater works, because I go to the Father.
Gospel of John, chapter 14, verse 12
I added the suffix "part 1" do the title of this article, because I want the encounter to be continued - as you can probably imagine. Meeting Jesus in person is really the best thing that happened in my life so far, although there are countless other wonderful things which took place. This particular encounter made my year, but I am looking forward to another encounter of that level or even higher, today.
