Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise.

The word of our God stands forever. - Isaiah 40:8

Let us renew our minds with some of the wonderful promises God has given to us through His Word. Let's process them slowly, deeply, prayerfully and repeatedly, letting the truth of them change our thinking and strengthen our faith.

2. 'The Lord... is with you; never again will you fear any harm... he is mighty to save. He will... deal with all who oppressed you...' Zephaniah 3:15-19.

5. 'Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and don't forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand...' Philippians 4:6-7.

6. 'For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord' Romans 8:38-39.

7. 'Let all those who... put their trust in You rejoice... because You... defend them; let those also who love Your name... be in high spirits' Psalm 5:11.

8. 'The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you...' Deuteronomy 33:27.

9. 'The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him' Nahum 1:7.

10. 'Fear not... for I am with you... I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you... I will hold you up... with My [victorious] right hand...' Isaiah 41:10.

12. 'Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever' Psalm 23:6.

13. 'The Lord stood at my side and gave me strength. The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom.' 2 Tim 4:17-18.
