What bandwidth is required to stream LIVE?

Generally we recommend a bandwidth of at least 500-600kbit/s up- and downstream. Caution: Shared (home user) lines advertise with lots of bandwidth, but since they are not dedicated, the actual available bandwidth for your viewers can drop suddenly and the Stream could even stop temporarily. Therefore a minimum bandwidth of 1 Mbit/s is recommended for viewers. The same is true on the side of the broadcaster with the upload. To be on the safe side we recommend 1 Mbit/s. But of course you can give it a try with half the bandwidth. (512 kbit/s)
