THE PRAYER OF FAITH & WHY WE PRAY THE WORD
(By Christine Darg and partners of Exploits Ministry)
Father in Heaven, you have revealed in your word that the PRAYER OF FAITH moves your heart and your hand. Today we enter Your gates with thanksgiving and come into Your courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). We boldly come into Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
We seek you today and we delight in knowing your ways. We take delight in approaching you now, Father (Isaiah 58:2).
We pray the Word out loud, because faith comes by hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)
Father, we set ourselves in agreement concerning those things for which we are praying today, for Jesus said, “If two of us agree on earth in any prayer, it is being done for us by our Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:19).
We thank you for what you have done for us and for what you are doing for us now.
We have Your Word and we are speaking Your Word faithfully. In the past our words have had nothing in common with Your words but we are training ourselves to speak only the way you speak. . . . with faith. Your Word is like a fire that is consuming all that cannot endure the test. Your Word is like a hammer that, right now, is breaking in pieces any and all rocks of even the most stubborn resistance (Jeremiah 23:28).
We are mixing Your Word with faith, and it is having the full effect in our lives (Hebrews 4:2).
Father, Your Word is spirit and it is life (John 6:63). It is alive and active and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
We know that you are ready to perform Your Word for us (Jeremiah 1:12).
Your Word never comes back void, but it prospers and accomplishes what it is sent out to do (Isa 55:11).
For every word of God is pure and You are a shield for us who are trusting in You
Your Word, Lord, which we are praying, is exalted even above Your name (Psalm 138:2).
We thank You that Your Word is incorruptible seed (1 Peter 1:23) and it cannot be set aside or cancelled or broken or annulled (Jn 10:35). Your Word stands forever (Ps 40:8).
As imitators of God (Ephesians 5:1), we call those things that be not as though they are (Romans 4:17). We speak the end from the beginning. (Isa 46:10) Just as You, Father, have declared the former things from the beginning by Your words, they are now going forth from our mouths and You are causing them to be heard. And suddenly, You do them and they come to pass (Isaiah 48:3).
Father, You are saying that none of Your words will be postponed any more, but Your Word which we speak is being accomplished in the earth. (Ezekiel 12:28).
We know You are hearing our supplications as we cry out to you (Psalms 28:2). Our supplications are before You now, Father, and You are delivering us according to Your Word (Psalms 119:170).
We thank You, Father, that we have the petitions we are asking of You (1 Samuel 1:17) and, that You, Father, are maintaining our cause and our right (Psalm 9:4, 1 Kings 8:45).
We have faith in You, God, and in Your Word. The things that we ask when we pray, we believe that we receive them now, and so we have them. (Mark 11:22 & 24), in the Name of Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashaich, we pray.
